Situated along the Gilbert River and the historic site of the Quebec gold rush, discover a wealth of activities at our unsurpassed resort.
Situated in the heart of the beautiful Beauce Valley, Camping la Roche d’Or is the perfect spot for a family vacation!
This seasonal resort offers full-service sites and tent sites where you can enjoy the rustic charm of the pine forest and panoramic views. Take advantage of our location
along the historic site of the Quebec Gold rush on the Gilbert River. In fact, the largest gold nugget in Canada, the McDonald nugget weighing 1280
grams, was found right here. You too can look for gold nuggets in the Gilbert River!
The resort also boasts an active social committee that plans themed activities every weekend throughout the summer. We host some of Quebec’s best-known musicians for concerts and dancing.
There is never a dull moment at the Roche d’Or! Take advantage of our location and visit local attractions such as the Miniature village of Baillargeon, Museum of Antique Cars, Beauceville Golf or Le Ganoué Theater. With so much to do and so much to see, we know you won’t want to leave!
Closely located to La Roche d’Or campsite, the Chaudiere bikeway (Véloroute de la Chaudière) is a fully asphalted bike path more than 20 kilometers long. Multiple services and activities are available along the route, such as restaurants and local shops. It is also possible for cyclists to stop during their ride for a quick swim or for a sports session! The Véloroute de la Chaudière is a great way to discover this beautiful region for campers at La Roche d'Or!
