Andrew Blair

Andrew Blair

Andrew is the President and CEO of Parkbridge, having joined the company in September of 2011. Prior to joining Parkbridge, Andrew was the Head of Real Estate Investments in the Americas for the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, one of the largest single-purpose pools of capital globally. He previously acted as the Presid​ent and CEO of the StorageNow group of private companies and as the Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of both MI Developments Inc. and the shopping centre division of Trizec Corporation, each of which was listed on both the Toronto and New York stock exchanges. In addition to his experience in real estate operations, acquisitions, development and customer service, Andrew has an extensive background in corporate finance and major transactions, having begun his career at one of Canada’s pre-eminent commercial law firms, where he was a managing partner.​​​


Mark Gow

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mark Gow

Mark has over 30 years of financial management experience. Prior to joining Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities in early 2014, he was Chief Financial Officer of Mongolia Minerals Corporation from 2010 to 2014. Mongolia Minerals, head quartered in Calgary, Alberta, was a private company exploring for coal and other minerals in Mongolia. Prior to this, Mark was the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Fording Canadian Coal Trust from 2008 to 2009. From 1997 to 2008, Mark held various financial roles in Fording Canadian Coal Trust, Fording Inc., and Elk Valley Coal Corporation, including Manager, Accounting, Site Controller, Director of Investor Relations, Controller and Vice President, Finance. During the period 1988 to 1997, Mark was Vice President, Finance and Administration of BMP Energy Systems Ltd., which provided gas measurement, production accounting and field audit products and services to oil and gas producers. Mark is a Chartered Accountant, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and the Financial Executives Institute.


Katherine Gyles

Senior Vice President, Human Resources 
and Organizational Effectiveness

Katherine Gyles

Katherine is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources & Organizational Effectiveness. She joined Parkbridge in July 2012 and is located at the Eastern Region Office in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. Katherine is a high energy leader who loves helping organizations work through the puzzle of making people, processes and performance hum. She brings to Parkbridge 20 years’ experience, including senior roles in several major Canadian companies, all of which share the challenge of adapting to changing business environments while developing and motivating people and making their operations effective. Katherine has an honours B.A. from Queen’s in political science along with a professional HR designation.


Karl Gagesch

Senior Vice President, Development

Karl Gagesch

Karl joined Parkbridge in January 2015 in the position of Senior Vice President Development at our Eastern Region Office in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. Karl comes to Parkbridge with extensive senior management experience overseeing development functions in both the private and public sectors. Karl has led development projects in the hospitality, gaming, healthcare, education and remote worker accommodations markets. In the past, Karl also owned a consulting practice where he provided development planning services to clients with projects across Canada and in the United States. Karl is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an Honours Business Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from York University.


Sandy Higgins 

Vice President, Planning,
Infrastructure and Environmental

Sandy Higgins

Sandy joined Parkbridge in October 2002 as General Manager Operations Ontario before moving into development as the company grew rapidly. He currently is responsible for the planning and approvals processes for both the expansion of existing properties as well as greenfield developments. Key functions include heavy civil works, such as the installation of storm and sanitary sewers, water mains, roads and sidewalks to facilitate the creation of building sites or major capital replacement of such civil works. Sandy also oversees the design and approvals process as well as the construction and operation of water and wastewater treatment plants and property amenities such as recreation centres. He is an Environmental officer for Parkbridge responsible for regulatory compliance and best practice management of environmental issues within the portfolio. He came to Parkbridge with extensive experience in residential and resort development and home construction as well as a background in property management. Sandy holds a B.Sc. Civil Engineering from Queen's University as well degrees in Environmental Design Studies and Architecture from the Technical University of Nova Scotia.


Sherri Coburn

Vice President, Information Technology
and Business Solutions

Sherri Coburn

Sherri joined Parkbridge in January of 2013 in the newly created position of Vice President Business Solutions & IT at our Eastern Region Office in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. She comes to Parkbridge with many years of experience working with organizations of various sizes to develop and deploy business solutions that help companies reach performance & efficiency goals. She has diverse industry experience and has worked in corporate organizations, as well as in the consulting sector. She holds both an undergraduate degree in Economics and an MBA specializing in Information Technology.


Rob Tallis

Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Rob Tallis

Rob joined the Parkbridge team in January of 2014 in the position of Vice President Sales and Marketing operating out of the Eastern Region Office in Wasaga Beach. Rob comes to Parkbridge with deep sales and marketing experience gained from organizations like Proctor & Gamble, Labatt and ConAgra Foods, and strong residential construction experience gained from over 25 years of leading construction projects, innovation initiatives and driving project management discipline. At Parkbridge Rob leads the development and implementation of short and long term sales & marketing strategies and initiatives while driving the delivery of quality products to our consumers. Rob champions the mind set of “the consumer at the centre of everything we do”, focused on building consumer connections and experiences along the way. Educated with a BA from Wilfrid Laurier University and a MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University; schooled on job sites since his early teens, Rob brings an eclectic set of skills and experiences to the Parkbridge management team.​


Heather Knight-Bortoluzzi

Vice President, Finance

Heather Knight-Bortoluzzi

Heather is the Vice President of Finance with over 25 years of experience in senior financial roles. She joined Parkbridge in May 2014 bringing with her experience gained in multi-faceted and diverse organizations, including technology, financial services, manufacturing, distribution and public accounting. Heather is passionate about implementing new systems and procedures which have helped to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization, and positively challenge the status quo. As a results-oriented and proactive financial executive Heather has strong business acumen, outstanding leadership, communication and financial capabilities. Heather proudly holds an undergraduate degree in Business from Wilfrid Laurier University; and is a Chartered Accountant, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. With her fam​ily, Heather loves cottaging in Ontario’s beautiful north, being involved in local sports organizations and entrepreneurial ventures.​


Lachlan MacLean

Vice President, Property Operations

Heather Knight-Bortoluzzi

Lachlan is the Vice President of Property Operations at Parkbridge. He joined Parkbridge in September 2012, and spent three years managing Property Operations in Canada's West before moving to Ontario.  Born and raised in British Columbia, Lachlan spent 15 years in Australia, where he honed his skills in multi-site property operations and management.  His business experience includes companies such as Wilson Parking, Australia's largest parking operator, and Macquarie Leisure Trust, where he grew its d'Albora Marinas division through development and acquisition. Returning home to Canada in 2008, Lachlan managed a marina development project on the west coast for WAM Development Group before joining Parkbridge.  Lachlan has an Honours B.A. in Geography, which he obtained through the University of Western Ontario's Urban Development program. 


Bill Wells

Senior Advisor

Bill Wells

Bill is currently the Senior Advisor for home and RV sales, home construction and infrastructure construction, general development activities, warranty and customer service. He works in the Parkbridge Development Office in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. Bill first joined Parkbridge in 2003 as a Manager of a newly acquired property by Parkbridge. He has progressed through various senior roles including Regional Manager, Vice President Southwestern Ontario, Senior Vice President Operations and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Parkbridge, he had a successful track record in the manufactured housing industry in the areas of Marketing, Sales and Home Design. He has a MBA from Western University.​​​​
